Pablo Atchugarry is a famous artist in Uruguay， currently， he is working and living both in Italy and Uruguay. He is famous for his sculpture art， his works often appeared in some large art fairs in the world， like Art Basel and Armory， etc. He explored the endless expression of marble through sculptural creation， and then to manifest his understandings in relation to life， he also expressed his explorations and thinkings refinedly， he endowed a kind of sincere and intimate spiritual expression in the traditional vertical sculptures. His works were collected and displayed in many museums and public institutions，like Montevideo National Visual Art Museum and Bologna Lyle Carol Museum. Meanwhile， his sculpture works were collected in all over the world， including New York， London， Miami， Montevideo， Buenos Aires，Paris， Brasilia， Madrid ， Frankfurt，etc.
Pablo Atchugarry 是烏拉圭著名的藝術家，目前在意大利與烏拉圭兩地之間工作和生活。他以雕塑作品而聞名，其作品經常出現在世界大型藝術博覽會上，如巴塞爾（Art Basel）、軍械庫（Armory）等。在2007年至2008年間，他在巴西與知名策展人Luca Massimo Barbero合作舉行多場題為《El espacio plástico de la luz》（光明的塑料空間）的個人巡回回顧展。他將展覽帶去了聖巴勃羅的巴西利亞雕塑博物館、庫裏蒂巴的奧斯卡尼邁耶博物館和巴西利亞的巴西銀行巴西文化中心。著名藝術評論家Luciano Caprile認為“這位烏拉圭雕塑家探索大理石無盡的表現力，並以此展現他對生命的體認。他將自己的理解與探索極致化，並在創作中將這種傳統的垂直性雕塑作品，演繹為一種誠懇並親密的精神表達”。他的作品被多所博物館以及公共機構收藏或展出，諸如：蒙得維的亞國家視覺藝術博物館、帕克迪波托菲諾的帕克博物館、博洛尼亞的萊爾卡羅博物館等。同時，他的雕塑作品被收藏於世界各地，其中包括紐約、倫敦、邁阿密、蒙得維的亞、布宜諾斯艾利斯、巴黎、巴西利亞、馬德裏、法蘭克福等世界各大知名城市。
Pablo Atchugarry 於1954年8月出生於烏拉圭的蒙得維的亞，父親Pedro喜歡藝術，是他的啟蒙老師。Pablo Atchugarry於上世紀70年代末期在藝術界嶄露頭角，在蒙得維的亞、布宜諾斯艾利斯、阿萊格裏、巴西利亞的數場畫展中參展之後，前往西班牙、法國及意大利求學。1978年，他本人於萊科市（科莫湖）第一次舉辦個展。而他的畫作也在米蘭、哥本哈根、巴黎、科伊拉、貝加莫、斯德哥爾摩等歐洲各大城市頻頻亮相，引起了藝術界的注目。
