t him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
Acts9:40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
Acts9:41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
Acts9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
Acts9:43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
Acts10:1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
Acts10:2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
Acts10:3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
Acts10:4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
Acts10:5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
Acts10:6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
