有一個倉庫裏漏出很多蜂蜜。聞到蜂蜜香味的蒼蠅爭先恐後地飛來搶食蜂蜜。一頓飽餐之後，他們才發現自己的腳被蜂蜜粘住了，再也無法飛起來。在奄奄一息時，他們不禁悲歎道： “咱們真是愚蠢 !為貪圖一時的享受，竟斷送了自己的性命。 ”
歡笑背後總是有痛苦和傷痛的。
A Number of Flies were attracted to a jar of honey which had beeurned in a housekeeper’s room，and plag their feet in it，ate greedily. Their feet，however，beeared with the hohey ot use their wihemselves，aed. Just as they were expiring，they exclaimed，“O foolish creatures that we are，for the sake of a little pleasure we have destroyed ourselves.”
Pleasure bought with pains，hurts.
