1.名詞性從句作主語（主語從句）

2.名詞性從句作賓語（賓語從句）
賓語從句可以由that引導，也可以由連接代詞和連接副詞引導，還可以由名詞性關係代詞what，whatever，whichever，whoever引導。
（1）that引導的賓語從句。
如：Bubsp;did not read the neers，or he would have known that trouble was brewing，not alone for himlf，but for every tidewater dog，strong of musbsp;and with warm，long hair，from Puget Sound to San Diego.（The Call of the Wild）But Bubsp;did not read the neers，and he did not know that Manuel，one of the gardener’s helpers，was an undesirable acquaintahe Call of the Wild）
