25. Never Love Unless You
—— T. Campion
Never love unless you
Bear with all the faults of man;
Men sometimes will jealous be,
Though but little cau they e,
And hang the head, as distent,
And speak what straight they will repent.
Men that but one saint adore
Make a show of love to more;
Beauty must be sed in none,
Though but truly rved in one;
For what is courtship but disgui?
True hearts may have dismbling eyes.
Meheir affairs require
Must a while themlves retire,
Sometimes hunt, and sometimes hawk,
And not ever sit and talk.
If the and such like you bear,
Then like, and love, and never fear.
