【注意】：
1、英文句號要用實心點“.”不用小圈。
2、直接引語如果是問句或驚歎句，盡管後麵跟有said這樣的話，仍然可以用句號或驚歎號，例如：
“Are you from the south?”he asked.
“What a wonderful film this is!” she exclaimed.
但引語如果是陳述句，則末尾不用句號，而用逗號，例如：
“I’ll be babsp;in a minute,”he said.
3、間接引語內的問句不要用問號，例如：
He asked where that man was.
B、逗號用在句子中間，表示一定的停頓。
1、用在位於句首的狀語從句後，例如：
When I got there, they were already in the fields.
比較they were already in the fields when I got there.
2、用在並列句內的分句之間，例如：
We were rather slow at first, but soon we learnt to work faster.
3、用在一個句子的各並列成分之間，例如：
She bought towel, some soap, a bottle of ink, a pair of socks and envelopes.(連接並列的賓語)
Tom jumped out of bed, put on his clothes, ate his breakfast and theo school.(連接並列的謂語)
【注意】：最後兩個並列成份間都用and連接，一般不加逗號。
4、用在同位語和插入語的前後，例如：
rade Wang, head of the English Department, is going to speak to us toninght.(同位語)
This book, I’m sure, will be a great success.(插入語)
5、用在其他場合，例如：
Yes, I was there.
He was born on April 2,1940.
【注意】：漢語中逗號使用比英語廣泛，漢語用逗號收尾的地方，在英語中往往獨立成句，末尾要用句號。例如：
