全稱吉爾吉斯共和國。吉爾吉斯斯坦位於中亞東北部。天山山脈北麓的伊塞克湖位於群山掩映之中，湖水清澈，素有“上帝遺落的明珠”之稱。比什凱克阿拉圖廣場的雕像瑪納斯是吉爾吉斯斯坦人民引以為傲的民族英雄，很多社團、街道、劇院、學校都以“瑪納斯”命名。吉爾吉斯斯坦的傳統樂器表演頗具感染力，時而氣勢恢宏，時而溫潤優雅。
