古時候有個書生叫車胤（yìn），
青年時家庭極苦貧。
車胤從小就愛讀書，
買不起燈油生鬱悶。
到夏天他捉了許多螢火蟲，
裝進了紗袋把口紮緊。
螢火蟲光亮雖微弱，
也能照亮兒讀詩文。
這樣的苦學精神人稱讚，
新時代讀書條件勝古人，
雪亮的電燈照耀下，
朋友們怎能不發奮！
假若是虛度青春好年華，
對不起國家和親人。
To Read with the Light of Fireflies
In ancient times there was a scholar named Che Yin。Che Yin loved to read from an early age，but what troubled him was that his family couldn't afford an oil lamp。
In summer he caught many fireflies and he tied them up inside a gauze bag。Dim as the fireflies'light was，it did supply the light for his reading。People as keen as him at their studies are highly praised。
