浙江慈溪人，1940年12月出生，中國作家協會會員, 中國戲劇家協會會員。現任寧波市戲劇家協會名譽主席、電影家協會名譽主席，在文學、戲劇、影視領域均有建樹，著有長篇小說《四明傳奇》、《東海傳奇》、《山鄉巨瀾》、《梁竹正傳》、《徐福東渡》；電影《神秘失蹤的船》，《血祭》，《溫暖》、《龍門村軼事》、《天地良心》；戲劇《琥珀淚》、《桃花夢》、《孟薑女》、《衛城刀》、《洪濤奇情》、《花好月圓》、《血指奇緣》；電視劇《修竹湖的故事》、《虎口奪丁》、《徐福東渡傳奇》、《梁山伯與祝英台》、《孟薑女》、《桃花夢》、《琥珀淚》、《花轎錯》等，作品具有濃鬱的浙東地域特色和生活氣息,受到廣大讀者與觀眾的歡迎，多次獲國家或地區級別獎，被授予“寧波市突出貢獻科技人員”稱號，慈溪市博物館將其24部手稿作永久性收藏。
