Except for theories of hedge fund, it’s high time for us focused on the practical way of it, especially when it’s refered to China, a country holding more conservative attitude towards to the international financial market. In terms of China’s path to hedge funds, we can have an oversight necessity, the already qualified conditions, and also impediments for introducing more hedge funds into China’s market. Moreover, we can conduct a plain forecast on the future of Chinese hedge funds to close this paper.

1.Necessity of Introducing

Hedge funds as an important investment tool in the world has made great progress in the case of global financial integration, the introduction of hedge funds is imperative for China, especially under the context of globalization and high trade dependence rate.

First, hedge funds as an investment tool, it gives investors an extra investment choice, and have a higher rate of return on capital, more attractive to investors. Moreover, the introduction of hedge funds will help to improve the domestic financial landscape, and promote the development and diversification of financial market derivatives. In addition, hedge funds can increase our financial market liquidity, market risk, stabilize financial markets.

To put into a nutshell, the hedge fund that reflects our financial markets and system flaws is able to assist improving our financial system.

2.Domestic Conditions Already Qualified for Hedge Funds, Favorable and Unfavorable Ones

The investor base: In recent years, with the rapid development of China's economy, the emerging affluent investor formed a huge investor team. Also with lower interest rates, there will be more money flowing into the financial markets, which have provided the foundation for the introduction of investors in hedge funds.
