《周易》小詞典：《大過》，卦名。大過卦，古人看作死卦，這既反映了一種危難緊要關口，也是一個非常人所及而唯君子可為的時刻。

Modern interpretation: The superior man goes with truth, and he goes calmly even if he is not understood by others. He can keep retired from the world but can never lose heart.
Moral: It requires a dauntless courage to get rid of unhealthy trends, evil practice, and bad customs and habits.
Glossary: Da Guo, literally means “excess” and was viewed by the ancients as a symbol of death. It suggests a critical stage, and also a special time when none other than the superior man can act and prosper.
