2.of 屬格
of屬格用於無生命事物，如the legs of the table；或用於名詞化的詞，如the livelihood of the poor；或表示動賓關係，如the u of nuclear energy；或表示同位關係，如the City of New York（紐約市）。

3.獨立屬格
所謂獨立屬格，即屬格獨立存在，下文沒有名詞跟隨。獨立屬格一般用於以下幾個方麵。
