複合形容詞複合形容詞是指由兩個或兩個以上的詞構成的形容詞。複合形容詞主要有以下幾種構成方式：
（1）名詞+形容詞。如：duty-free，home-sick，heart-sick。
（2）名詞+現在分詞。如：labor-saving，mouth-watering。
（3）名詞+過去分詞。如：weather-beaten，sugar-coated，hearted-felt。
（4）形容詞+現在分詞。如：good-looking，easy-going。
（5）形容詞+名詞。如：large-scale，high-class。
（6）形容詞+名詞+-ed。如：abnt-minded，whole-hearted，good-tempered。
（7）形容詞+形容詞。如：icy-cold，red-hot。
（8）副詞+現在分詞。如：far-eing，hard-w，far-reag。
（9）副詞+過去分詞。如：well-informed，wide-spread，well-known。
