cupfuls是名詞cupful的複數形式。cupful之意為“滿杯" (the amount whie cup hold）。例如four cupfuls of wine是“四滿杯酒”，相當於a cup filled four times。要注意的是，cupful的複數形式是cupfuls, 不是cupsful (並無此字）。
“-ful”加在名詞後麵，表示“滿……”，如：boxful（滿盒），bagful（滿袋），mouthful（滿口），spoonful（滿匙），它們的複數形式全部是在詞尾加s的。例：
