True Love
William Shakespeare(1564-1616)
它正視風暴,卻永遠不會動搖;
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown,although his height be taken.
Love's not time's fool,though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come.
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ,nor no man ever loved.
Blind Love
William Shakespeare(1564-1616)
O me! what eyes hath love put in my head,
Which have no correspondence with true sight!
Or if they have,where is my judgement fled,
That censures falsely what they see aright?
If that be fair whereon my false eyes dote,
What means the world to say it is not so?
If it be not,then love doth well denote,
Love's eye is not so true as all men's:no.
How can it? O how can love's eye be true,
That is so vexed with watching and with tears?
No marvel then though I mistake my view;
The sun itself sees not till heaven clears.
O cunning love,with tears thou keep'st me blind,
Lest eyes,well seeing,thy foul faults should find.
To His Love

力量過多反讓自己信心衰減;
As an unperfect actor on the stage,
Who with his fear is put besides his part,
Or some fierce thing replete with too much rage,
Whose strength's abundance weakens his own heart;
So I, for fear of trust, forget to say
The perfect ceremony of love's rite,
And in mine own love's strength seem to decay,
O'ercharged with burthen of mine own love's might.
0 let my books be then the eloquence
And dumb presagers of my speaking breast,
Who plead for love and look for recompense
More than that tongue that more hath more expressed.
0 learn to read what silent love hath writ.
To hear with eyes belongs to love' s fine wit.

或許可以說我愛她愛得更加深沉;
失去她,這所失的又被我的朋友所獲;
That thou hast her,it is not allmy grief,
And yet it may be said I loved her dearly;
That she hath thee is of my wailing chief,
Aloss in love that touches me more nearly.
Loving offenders,thus I will excuse ye:
Thou dost love her, because thou knowest I love her,
