塔布島
最南端的塔布島是湯加最繁華的島嶼，也是湯加最大的島嶼，約占全國土地的三分之一。首都努庫阿洛法就坐落在這個島上。島上有大片大片的椰子和香蕉種植園，附近的埃瓦島上覆蓋著茂密的熱帶雨林。
幽靈島
1831年，在南太平洋湯加王國西部海域中，由於海底火山爆發而突然冒出一個小島來。然而，當人們還在談論它並有所打算時，它卻像幽靈一樣消失在洋麵上。過了幾年，當人們對它早已忘得一幹二淨時，它又像幽靈一樣從海中露了出來。1967年12月，它再一次冒出海麵，可到了1968年，它又消失得無影無蹤。
三石塔
在努庫阿洛法的郊外，有一座三石塔，據說是舊皇宮的拱門，它是古代湯加人用大型獨木舟從瓦裏斯島運來的大石頭建造的。還有一處文物，是一塊大石頭製成的“日曆”，這塊“日曆”頂端刻著一年中最長和最短一天的日期，並且有太陽升起時的標記。
噴潮洞
噴潮洞是南太平洋的獨特景觀。在湯加塔布島的南岸，每當漲潮的時候，驚濤駭浪拍向海岸，海水從成千上萬的礁石的洞穴中噴湧出來，形成幾十米高的水柱，十分壯觀。

Medical
It has implemented the national free health care system in Tonga. In 2001， there were four hospitals， 34 clinics， 302 beds， 52 doctors， and 303 nurses. The Human Development Index here ranked 54th in the United Nations Development Programme and took the first place in the South Pacific island nations. The life expectancy of man reaches to 69 years and female to 74 years.
Education
Public schools offer free education to children from 5 to 14 years in Tonga， and it is popular for intermediate compulsory education， almost no illiteracy. There are no universities， but the South Pacific University Campus locates here. Church of Tonga may be involved in education law to build independent schools. Government and some Commonwealth countries provide partial scholarships to send students abroad to study.
