將生活實際引入英語課堂的實踐

一、挖掘生活語言素材，捕捉教學契機
英語作為一種交流工具，它的作用越來越為我們所重視。美國教育家畢特·科勒涅斯指出：“生活的世界就是教育的世界，生活的範圍就是課程的範圍。”我們現在所采用的牛津小學英語教材，它的教學內容及設計都來源於學生的生活實際，我們教師應抓住這一特點，努力創造生活化的教學氛圍，挖掘生活中的語言素材，讓學生在潛移默化中受到影響，更好地將知識運用到生活中去。
例如一堂小學三年級的數字教學課的片段。
T：Look！The thief is stealing something in the store.When you see it，you can call...
S：It’s 110.
T：There’s a burning house.If you see it，what telephone number are you going to call？
S：I can call 119.
T：When you see someone fainting.You can call...
S：It’s 120.
T：You’d like to order a restaurant when you want to invite someone to eat lunch. But you don’t know the telephone number. What number can you call？
S：I can call 114.
T：（出示一個電話號碼，請學生讀）88339572. It’s
my telephone number. Would you please tell me your telephone number？What’s your telephone number？If you aren’t in Changzhou，you’re in Shanghai now.You want to call me.You may call...
S：先要加上區號再撥電話號碼.
（多媒體課件呈現一個房間，然後出現房間號碼）
T：Here’s a room of the restaurant. Could you tell me its number？How many rooms can you see？
T：（多媒體課件逐步呈現三輛公共汽車及號碼）Look，is that a car？No，it’s a bus.I go to school by bus everyday. I take this bus. Tell me its number.
