We are the same size.
這兩個句子的構成成分有所不同，第一句比第二句多了一個of，然而意義卻完全一樣，都是表示“我們的身材長得一樣高大”。在日常使用中，沒有of的一句比有of的一句用得更為普遍。
在英語中，有些名詞如同size一樣，既可用於像第一句有of的句型，也可以用於像第二句沒有of的句型。比較常見的詞有：age, cood, height, kind, length, price，sort，thiess，u，weight，width等。下麵略舉數例，以見一斑：
