★ I was wondering if you could...表達委婉的意思，用法和could you \/ would you差不多。
★ on one’s way （to）表示“在……的路上”
例：The bus conked out on my way to the hotel.

★ 在請求別人幫助時，需要先引起對方的注意，可以說“Excuse me”，但不說“Sorry”，Sorry這個詞用於道歉，不用來跟人打招呼。

★ subway，underground，tube，metro都表示“地鐵”。
subway是美式英語，underground 和tube是英式英語，tube 是underground的簡稱，metro一般在歐洲和日本使用較多。
★ bound 表示“開往……，駛向……”。要表達“啟程到達某個地點”時，bound的後麵要跟可以“表示地點”的介詞“for”而不是跟可以“表示地點”的介詞“to”。
例：The train is bound for Shanghai.（√）
The train is bound to Shanghai.（×）
出國旅遊，搭坐公交車是一種很經濟實惠的交通方式。為避免坐錯車，或繞遠路，學會用英文詢問當地人或公交車司機，如何到達自己的目的地很重要。
