★ I was wondering if you could...表達委婉的意思,用法和could you \/ would you差不多。
★ on one’s way (to)表示“在……的路上”

★ subway,underground,tube,metro都表示“地鐵”。
subway是美式英語,underground 和tube是英式英語,tube 是underground的簡稱,metro一般在歐洲和日本使用較多。
★ bound 表示“開往……,駛向……”。要表達“啟程到達某個地點”時,bound的後麵要跟可以“表示地點”的介詞“for”而不是跟可以“表示地點”的介詞“to”。
例:The train is bound for Shanghai.(√)
The train is bound to Shanghai.(×)
