★在美國預約餐廳座位的時候，常說“I’d like to make a reservation.”； 但在英國比較常用的是“I’d like to book…”。
★ arrange “安排”，可用作及物動詞和不可及物動詞。
用作及物動詞：
·用名詞或代詞作賓語
例：I’ve arranged a taxi for her.
我已為她安排了一輛出租車。
·用不定式作賓語
例：He has arranged to see them tonight.
他已安排今晚與他們見麵。
用作不及物動詞：
常用於“arrange for sb. (sth.) to do sth.”這個句型中。
