When it comes to competition and cooperation, some people emphasize competitionso much that they neglect the idea of cooperation. In business and in life,fierce competition does tend to give great reward; however, ignoring cooperationis not a wise choice.
Those who are fiercely competitive tend to think that only through competitioncan they defeat their counterparts; in addition, they think competition is theonly way to success. But others hold a different view. They maintain thatcooperation is as important as competition. They believe that cooperation canbuild trust between parties, leading to useful, long-term relationships. At thesame time, cooperation can also turn a small-scale, weak business into a large,strong one.
In reality, both competition and cooperation are essential to success, and thusboth should be emphasized at the same time. Ignoring one in favor of the otherwill actually do more harm than good in the long run.
