3、詢問對方：如果接通電話後對方未報姓名，或者要找的不是你本人，那麼就可以禮貌地詢問對方姓名以告知接電話者。例如：
A: 555 6784。
B: Hullo. Is that you, Pat?
還可用以下表達：
Is that…speaking?
Who’s that speaking?
Is that you, …?
4、在電話中向對方報自己姓名，在英語裏不說“I am…”，而是用：
This is… (speaking).
…speaking.
It’s… here.
5、告訴對方要找的人不在時：
I am afraid he’s not here at the moment.
She isn’t here right now.
6、喊某人接電話的常用語有：
There’s a call for you.
You are wanted on the phone.
Someone wants you on the phone.
